Best thing I could get for my wife

The entire purchase experience was exceptional. After placing the order I wanted to make sure it would arrive on time. I reached out to the team and Rachel called me back and personally assured me it would arrive on time. She made herself available through the day to make sure this would happen. Once the pillow arrived it was easy to unpack and set up. Then came time to use it. My wife’s recovery from her surgery was greatly helped with the pillow. We are almost two weeks post surgery and she has been able to sleep through the night since the night after surgery.
I cannot recommend this product enough. The purchase experience was very personalized and I felt valued and respected as a customer. The product is well made, well packaged and works really well.
Thank you so much.

Update. Back from surgery

Surgery yesterday…Post partial Mastectomy and lift to healthy breast to keep them from being lopsided. I perceived this act of kindness from amazing surgeon, as her belief that she got all the cancer.
The morning of surgery we have huge Santa Ana winds (gusts 60-70) and they cut power to my town and surrounding Red Flag Alert areas. SCE do this rather than bury the power poles? (Several years ago, we lost 600 homes in a huge fire started by downed power lines, fyi)
Knowing we had no power, my husband booked a lovely hotel and set up my SleepAgain Pillows while i being operated on…what a champ.
Came back from hospital and snuggled right into my cozy SleepAgain nest and FINALLY slept all night on my back.

I am in pain but so comfortable this morning that i am loving watching Netflix and healing properly on my back while waiting for the winds to die down at home and for the electricity to be restored.

I want anyone reading this to know that I was almost in tears rehearsing how to use it before surgery because i am a hard core side/tummy sleeper. I was certain I would fail on show day and ruin my surgical work and “get the hook!”

As we say, poor dress rehearsal equates to a fabulous show. I awakened this morning to a thunderous standing ovation from myself and ( if i could move my arms properly,) a most enthusiastically dramatic bow. The reviews are in, the critics agree, we have a hit on our hands! Congratulations!!

Miraculous

I have been a stomach sleeper my entire life. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last month and I am scheduled for surgery in two days. It’s a partial mastectomy with a lift on the other breast to match my scarred breast. I have been practicing for about a week to try and teach myself to sleep on my back. This bedding system is fantastic. I have to say it’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks, but this has been the most comfortable experience thus far. I will submit more info after my surgery. But I feel very confident that I will be able to , sleep on my back very comfortably and recover with the help of this system. Thank you to the women who started this business. And blessings to all of the women out there who need this pillow system because they have breast cancer.

Absolutely amazing! 5++++stars

I cannot say enough about how much this pillow has helped me in recovery. I set it up the night before my breast implant/lift and was immediately in love. I'm a stomach sleeper and so this has completely saved me. It's like a cocoon that keeps you snug and comfortable with legs elevated and chest elevated. Ironically, I've had back issues for 6 months now and those are also completely alleviated. Life changing for sure!!! I've been using it for 3 weeks post surgery and have no idea how I'm going to ever give it up. Just do it!

Snuggle nest

I don't typically invest so much into a pillow for myself. However, after undergoing a mastectomy as a stomach sleeper, I found that I needed help. The lymph node removal caused so much nerve pain, and the lack of support for my low back led to additional pain. Though I made a makeshift barrier with a wedge pillow etc., I splurged. This is the best investment I could have made to heal from surgery and pain, and I intend to continue use through treatment and reconstruction. The pillow system is easy to set up (especially with help if the pain is too bad), and has alleviated all of my concerns. My arm isn't swelling, my back doesn't hurt, no blood clots or discomfort in my legs, my neck doesn't hurt, and I don't roll over. They create the perfect nest for me to snuggle into at night and have allowed for much-needed sleep. I am so happy to have found you, read about you, and receive a coupon code to defray some of the cost. This whole process is overwhelming, and there are so many things to consider for this journey, but I am eternally grateful for the ingenuity of other women who understand and give back! Thank you!

Why is it better to sleep on my back after surgery?

Doctors recommend sleeping on your back post-mastectomy - and many other surgeries! - to manage surgical drains and dressings. Sleeping on your back helps you to heal optimally and protects incisions from excess pressure.

How can I stay on my back if I'm naturally a side sleeper?

Providing support on both sides of your body is the key to staying on your back while sleeping. The two contoured side pillows in the Sleep Again Pillow System are designed to do just that - provide support to keep you snugly in place.

Why does my upper body have to stay elevated after surgery?

Doctors recommend that you sleep with your upper body elevated after surgery to reduce swelling and bruising. It also improves circulation and reduces fluid build up. In addition, elevating your upper body makes getting out of bed easier.

Why does a wedge under my knees help after surgery?

Elevating your legs after surgery helps prevent swelling. A wedge pillow under your knees can also help with proper alignment in your back.

What arm limitations are recommended after a double mastectomy?

Following a double mastectomy, doctors recommend that you do not raise your arms above your shoulders. This is to protect incisions and sutures as well as keep drains in place.
