"Great product and great people behind it! Thank you for exceeding my expectations with outstanding customer service." - Andi S.
Created by our friends at the Balm Box. Coming home with drains poking out of your body can be exceptionally frustrating. Patients complain that they are awkward and uncomfortable, making it hard to sit, sleep, and especially to shower. Our unique drain holder is a great tool to help with post-operative at-home drain management.
Simply slip the lanyard over your head like a necklace. Adjust the length to align with where you want the drain bulbs to rest, ensuring the drain tubes can reach from your body to the metal clip on the bottom of the lanyard. Use one pink "C" shaped piece for each drain bulb.
Note: We do not recommend hooking more than 2 bulbs to each drain holder; we suggest one drain holder for every two drains/bulbs.

Why is it better to sleep on my back after surgery?
Doctors recommend sleeping on your back post-mastectomy - and many other surgeries! - to manage surgical drains and dressings. Sleeping on your back helps you to heal optimally and protects incisions from excess pressure.
How can I stay on my back if I'm naturally a side sleeper?
Providing support on both sides of your body is the key to staying on your back while sleeping. The two contoured side pillows in the Sleep Again Pillow System are designed to do just that - provide support to keep you snugly in place.
Why does my upper body have to stay elevated after surgery?
Doctors recommend that you sleep with your upper body elevated after surgery to reduce swelling and bruising. It also improves circulation and reduces fluid build up. In addition, elevating your upper body makes getting out of bed easier.
Why does a wedge under my knees help after surgery?
Elevating your legs after surgery helps prevent swelling. A wedge pillow under your knees can also help with proper alignment in your back.
What arm limitations are recommended after a double mastectomy?
Following a double mastectomy, doctors recommend that you do not raise your arms above your shoulders. This is to protect incisions and sutures as well as keep drains in place.
