Sleep Again Pillow System

I don't typically invest so much into a pillow for myself. However, after undergoing a mastectomy as a stomach sleeper, I found that I needed help. The lymph node removal caused so much nerve pain, and the lack of support for my low back led to additional pain. Though I made a makeshift barrier with a wedge pillow etc., I splurged. This is the best investment I could have made to heal from surgery and pain, and I intend to continue use through treatment and reconstruction. The pillow system is easy to set up (especially with help if the pain is too bad), and has alleviated all of my concerns. My arm isn't swelling, my back doesn't hurt, no blood clots or discomfort in my legs, my neck doesn't hurt, and I don't roll over. They create the perfect nest for me to snuggle into at night and have allowed for much-needed sleep. I bought this for my 15 year old son who just had shoulder surgery and has to sleep in a sling for 6 weeks, so he needs to be in an elevated position. He said it’s amazing and he was able to get the best night of sleep since the surgery.

I was worried before my double mastectomy that I would be stuck sleeping in a recliner because I am not a back sleeper. This pillow system was recommended on another website by a fellow cancer warrior. I immediately purchased it. It has been a life saver! I haven’t had to spend a single night on the couch or recliner since getting home from my surgery. We even bought special Halloween Snoopy sheets in twin size to keep over top. It’s so comfortable but still allows me to adjust myself a little when needed. It is well constructed, well thought out and absolutely worth the cost.

Ordered this pillow for our sister-in-law who underwent a radical double mastectomy. She had been a side sleeper all her life and didn’t know how she was going to sleep on her back as the doctor ordered. This pillow has been a game changer for her.
